Blackberry Basil Smoothie

There is something exceedingly refreshing about both berries and basil. When they are mixed together though, they create a delightfully delicious combination. 

This smoothie is the epitome of summer. Super easy, it makes use of the best seasonal ingredients. I used Gotham Greens basil for its rich aroma and smooth after taste. 

Serves 1.


Around 1 cup of fresh blackberries (you can also use frozen or a mix of blackberries and blueberries)

2 tbs of almond butter

1/2 cup of fresh basil

3/4 of almond milk



Combine all ingredients in a high powered blender and blend. Serve immediately.
