When cravings for crunch start, it can be difficult to steer clear of the greasy, packaged snacks found at every corner. Enter: the coconut chip.
These bad boys are both crunchy and slightly sweet, and ever so creamy, delivering that perfect mix of tastes all in one.
Try them plain, or experiment with different spices and salts. Paprika and sea salt is a great savoury combination, while cinnamon and coconut oil makes for the perfect sweet snack.
2 cups of unsweetened coconut flakes
Optional: sea salt, spices (savoury); cinnamon, coconut oil (sweet)
Heat a pan over medium heat and add coconut flakes (and toppings, if desired).
Stir often to evenly brown coconut flakes and to ensure they don't burn.
Eat while warm, or wait until cooled. Store in an airtight container.
