When we were kids, playing sports was a given and we hardly gave a second thought to what we put in our mouths. Then suddenly, we weren’t kids anymore and along came alcohol, socialising and long days at the office. What used to be second nature to us is now a concerted effort on our behalf, and keeping fit and healthy is now seen as a chore. We now all work long hours, have to some how squeeze in some sort of social life and take whatever is left over for ourselves. Healthy eating choices and time to exercise are overlooked. Books now go unread and gym memberships lie unused.
