It is shame that it takes a tragedy such as the bombings at the Boston Marathon for us to take a step back and realise how precious life actually is.
It is moments like these that force us to stop and reassess what is important to us, think deeper about the people and things that make us happy and help us to shed those that don’t.
So – what makes you happy? Like, really happy? Does sitting on Facebook for hours on end bring you happiness? Does watching mindless Youtube videos bring you pleasure? If not, stop these activities now and funnel your energy into the things that matter. Tell your partner, family and friends you love them. Spend more time with the people who make you feel good. Get outside and enjoy nature. Remember, life is short and we will never get back the days that tick away under our noses. Make sure you use your time wisely.
