My week in workouts

I used to have a love-hate relationship with exercise. Mostly, like writer’s always say about writing, I liked it better after the occasion, not during. These days, I love exercise. My body craves it and when it doesn’t get it, I feel sluggish, sloppy and antsy.

For no apparent reason, I began tracking my daily exercise habits about a month ago. I haven’t really referred to them until now however I thought it might make an interesting blog topic, for those of you who are interested.

As a general rule, I try to exercise every day, but I usually allow myself one rest day or “free” day where my exercise might be just walking around New York or going for a leisurely bike ride. Below is my exercise schedule for the past week:

As you can see, I try to vary the amount of cardio I do with resistance training. I have blogged quite a lot about resistance training in previous posts. I love it because it gets your heart rate up, totally revs your metabolism and tones your whole body. What exercise do you enjoy most?
