I keep my finger close to the pulse on the New York foodie scene. In a city full of restaurants, it is so important to have a repertoire of healthy options up your sleeve.
Two of my favourite New York stores have opened new locations in Tribeca in the last month. Check them out:
Sweet Green opened its second Manhattan location in Tribeca this week. Featuring all the delicious offerings found in its Nomad location, the stores brings a great lunch option to an area that is a bit of a food desert.
Check out their seasonal, local produce in one of their menu item salads, or build your own. Delish!

I am a big fan of the Almond Butter Cup smoothie (sans agave) at Juice Press, and was excited to hear that they have recently opened their first salad bar location.
Like their juices, smoothies and packaged food, all fresh salads and ingredients are 100% organic. Choose from the menu, modify a menu item, or build your own. The choice is yours!
An added bonus, this stores opens at 7am on weekdays, which is a nice break for us early birds who get hungry before 8am!
