Overnight Chia Oat Parfait
The best breakfasts are the easy breakfasts. This recipe takes under 5 minutes to prepare, and you are greeted with deliciousness in the morning.
The recipe calls for frozen fruit and while you can use fresh if you prefer, the frozen variety tends to melt a little overnight, infusing its sweet flavours into the oat mixture.
1/3 cup of gluten-free rolled oats
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
2 tablespoons of milk of your choice (I use almond milk)
Around 10 tablespoons of full fat Greek yoghurt (I love The White Moustache)
In a bowl, combine the oats, chia seeds, milk and yoghurt.
Scoop half the mixture into a Mason Jar (or any other container with a lid)
Layer the first half with frozen berries of your choice.
Repeat with the remaining half of the oat mixture and top with remaining berries.
Refrigerate overnight and eat in the morning!
