If you’re a foodie and hugely into organics but don’t want to sacrifice aesthetics and a hip crowd, ABC Kitchen is the spot for you. Although outrageously priced for what is on offer, chefs Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Pil Suarez offer fresh, local ingredients wherever possible to all menu options.
ABC is probably best as a lunch spot. Be prepared to wait for a while for a table, although you will be graciously offered a spot at the bar to drink $13 pressed green juices to pass the time while you wait.
Menu favourites of mine are the roasted carrot and avocado salad and the chicken salad. Both are large portions with interesting flavours. I have on good recommendation that the turkey burger is also very tasty.
On the menu also is a large selection of wines, some of which are local, and an impressive, although pricy cocktail list.
